I’m one of three sisters, married to my best friend of 10 years and have two wonderful boys, Gaines and Major. When i'm not creating balloon magic, I work in the home building industry and love playing with my two Holland lop bunnies. I am a natural red head and love a good weekend at the beach. I'm a big planner and list maker and weirdly love going grocery shopping...anyone else?!

a bit about me

After my first son was born, I found myself thinking about his first birthday party much sooner than other moms were thinking about their kid’s parties. Year one was just the beginning because I went over the top. Invitations, cupcake toppers, custom stadium cups and to top it off all off a DIY balloon garland to complete the decor. My little guy was a fan and the smile on his face was the proof! I was hooked and already couldn’t stop thinking about planning his next party and it’s been the same for his little brother. If I could bring this much joy to my kids with my talents while I was enjoying it myself, I wanted to spread that happiness around and make insta- worthy parties and events possible for everyone. And so, Genlo was born.

who or what is genlo?

behind the name

The name Genlo stems from my love of animals, my Boxers. General was my first baby boy and was with me through both of my husbands deployments and college. After his sudden passing in 2021 I knew I wanted to honor him, he is the “Gen.” The “Lo” comes from the other DIVA in the house, Lola. She is the most tender hearted dog I have met and has a sweet and gentle demeanor.
